Motorola is going to launch a new smartphone called Moto Edge 50 Pro soon Again it is said to debut in China as the Moto X50 Ultra. The phone has already appeared on the US FCC (FCC), India’s BIS and United Arab Emirates’ TDRA (TRDA) certification sites, which suggests that the phone will soon enter the global market. However, before the official launch, Moto Edge 50 Pro specifications as well as design have been leaked.

As reported by Android Headlines, the leaked renders of the Moto Edge 50 Pro reveal that the handset will sport a unibody design on the rear panel. The edges will have a metallic curved finish and the display will also be curved. The smartphone can be launched in three color options – Purple, Black and Silver/White/Stone variant. The purple and black models will have a textured, possibly fake leather finish on the back.
Regarding the core specifications, the report mentions that the Moto Edge 50 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch curved display with a 165Hz refresh rate. For photography, the Edge 50 Pro will have a triple rear camera system, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.4 aperture, a wide-angle sensor and a telephoto lens with 6x zoom capability. This camera setup will also get laser autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS) support.
Also, for enhanced performance, the Moto Edge 50 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which will be paired with 12GB of RAM. And for power backup, it will get a 4,500mAh battery, which will support 125W wired and 50W wireless charging. Motorola has already teased the artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities of the Moto X50 Ultra in China, hinting at the integration of advanced AI features. The presence of AI features is becoming common in flagship smartphones day by day. The AI-powered Moto Edge 50 Pro is expected to launch in the coming weeks.
