OnePlus launched the OnePlus Ace 2 flagship smartphone in its home market i.e. China last February. And now the company has started preparing to bring the ‘Pro’ variant of the Ace 2 series to the market. Even before the official announcement by the company, a tipster has revealed some important information about the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Along with the launch timeline of the device, the display specifications have also been revealed.

Tipster digital chat station Weibo has revealed the launch timeline of the OnePlus S2 Pro. According to his claim, OnePlus will launch this handset sometime in July or August this year. He added that the company’s move could see the OnePlus S2 Pro compete with the Redmi K60 Ultra after its launch.
Last February, the standard OnePlus S2 model was unveiled in China, and now the Pro variant is getting ready to hit the market. Along with the launch timeline, Digital Chat Station revealed that the smartphone will feature a tall 6.74-inch OLED panel, which will feature curved edges and narrow bezels. The screen will be supplied by Chinese display manufacturer BOE and will offer a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Apparently, this display will be similar to the Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus model and will also feature 1,440 Hz PWM (PWM) dimming.
As per previous reports, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be powered by an overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will likely be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Other notable features include a 50-megapixel rear primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and a 5,000mAh battery, which will support 100W fast charging.
