Last month Realme launched Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ in global markets including India. At the time, the brand announced that the Realme 12 Pro series would debut in China in February. And today the brand has officially confirmed the launch date and time of this lineup.
Realme 12 Pro Series Launch Date
Realme has released an official teaser confirming that the Realme 12 Pro series launch event will be held in China on February 27 at 2 PM (local time). As per the global market, the series will include two models – the regular Realme 12 Pro and the Realme 12 Pro Plus.
Specifications of Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+
The Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus slated to launch in China are expected to offer the same specifications as the global variant. Both the devices feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED curved-edge display, offering FullHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. Both phones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Both devices are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 chipset respectively. Realme 12 Pro series has been launched in the global market with a maximum of 12 GB RAM and up to 256 GB storage.
For photography, the triple camera setup on the rear panel of the Realme 12 Pro model includes a 50-megapixel Sony AMX882 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. . And there is a 16 megapixel camera in front of the phone.
On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro+ has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front-facing camera. And on the rear panel of the device there is a triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel Ov64 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The series runs on Android 14 based Realme UI 5 custom skin.
Notably, Realme has started teasing a new smartphone called Realme 12+ 5G under their number series in India. It is confirmed to launch in Malaysia on February 29. The phone may be launched in China on February 27 alongside the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+. The Relame 12+ is likely to feature a 6.7-inch FullHD+ AMOLED flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, a 16-megapixel front camera and 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel sensors. + will offer a triple rear camera setup with a 2-megapixel sensor.
