The Realme 12 Pro smartphone series was launched in January this year. This lineup offers designs inspired by luxury watches. The phones also come with several notable features. However, Realme today released a new photo editing feature called ‘AIGC Elimination’ to enable the series devices to provide a better and improved photographic experience. This feature will be rolled out to the Realme 12 Pro series of phones in every region through periodic ‘over-the-top’ (OTA) updates. Talking about functionality, this feature allows users to remove unwanted objects from images with just one tap.
AIGC Elimination feature rolled out for Realme 12 Pro series
The full meaning of AIGC is ‘Artificial Intelligence Generative Content’. To use this photo editing feature, users first need to select the “AIGC Elimination” option under the editing options. Then draw a circle on the unwanted object you want to remove from the image. Then this AI-powered editing system will automatically detect and remove the object.
However, Realme has not revealed any details about the AIGC photo editing feature. It is not yet clear whether this feature can be used in offline mode on the device, or whether online server support is required. However, there is a possibility that an internet connection will be required to use this feature.
Realme 12 Pro Series Specifications and Price
A total of two models have come under the Realme 12 Pro series namely – Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus. Both the phones have a 6.7-inch display panel with 1080 pixels resolution. The devices offer a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. Of which the standard Realme 12 Pro model comes with a 32-megapixel telephoto shooter with 2x zoom and the higher ‘Pro Plus’ variant comes with a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. The handset is dust and water resistant as it is dual IP65 certified.
Talking about the price, Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus phones in India start at Rs 24,999 and Rs 31,999 respectively.
