Vivo is expected to take the wraps off its new Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y100 (4G variant), in the coming weeks. Vivo Y100 (4G) gets NBTC clearance
Vivo Y100 with model number V2342 is listed in the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand database. However, this listing revealed nothing more than the name. But with the handset appearing on this certification website, it is certain that the phone is going to enter the global market very soon.
Notably, the upcoming Vivo Y100 was earlier spotted on the Geekbench platform, revealing that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor. The benchmark also revealed that the phone will run on the latest Android 14 operating system and will have 8GB of RAM. However, more RAM options of the phone may come in the market at the time of launch.
Meanwhile, the Vivo Y100 (4G variant) has also recently received Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) certification. According to this listing, the phone will be launched as Vivo V30 Lite in some markets. Vivo has already launched three different models under the Vivo Y100 series in different countries. So this is the fourth phone in the series, but only the first one with 4G support.
