Finally a middle class dream come true, the country’s cheapest car with sunroof comes under Tata’s rule

These days, relatively inexpensive cars are also appearing with sunroofs. In this regard, the country’s popular company Tata Motors (Tata Motors) is a few steps ahead of the rest. Recently they added sunroof feature to Altroz ​​hatchback as the cheapest car in the country. The feature is offered in all 16 variants. Prices range from Tk 7.90 lakh to Tk 10.55 lakh (ex-showroom).

The sunroof variant of the Tata Altroz ​​costs Rs 45,000 more. Meanwhile, Hyundai i20’s Asta and Asta (O) – higher trims with sunroof start at Rs 9.03 lakh. Hyundai is going to launch the Exter micro SUV with single pane sunroof in the country soon. It will come as their cheapest SUV model.

Tata Altroz: Performance

Tata Altroz ​​is available in 1.2 liter naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine, 1.2 liter turbo petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engine. The NA and turbo charged petrol powertrains produce a maximum power of 86 bhp and 110 bhp respectively. It is available in 5-speed manual gearbox and 6-speed DCT automatic transmission options.

Tata recently launched six new CNG variants of the Altroz. The models are priced from Rs 7.55 lakh to Rs 10.55 lakh. It features a 1.2 liter petrol engine with a dual cylinder CNG setup. Output in CNG mode is 77 bhp and 103 Nm.
