After launching in China in September last year, Xiaomi’s new Redmi Buds 5 earbuds have made their debut in India. It has active noise cancellation features, Google Fast Pair and a long battery life of 38 hours. Let’s take a look at the price, features and specifications of the new Redmi Buds 5 earbuds.
Redmi Buds 5 Price and Availability
Redmi Buds 5 earbuds are priced at Rs 2,999 in the Indian market. It comes in Black, White and Purple color options. It will be available for purchase on e-commerce site Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail stores from February 20.
Redmi Buds 5 specifications and features
The Redmi Buds 5 earphones are specially designed inspired by Samsung and Apple earphones. Its earbuds look like AirPods Pro and its charging case looks like Galaxy Buds.
Again it has 12.4 mm dynamic driver with titanium diaphragm. Not only that, the hearable features 1.6mm coils with fine winding, N52 neodymium magnets and a separate sound chamber.
Additionally, the earphone offers Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and is compatible with devices running Android and Chrome operating systems. It is also possible to connect it to two devices at the same time.
Apart from this, the earphone has a noise cancellation feature which is capable of avoiding external noise up to 46 decibels. Moreover, the earbuds will offer three levels of noise cancellation feature. It also has Ambient Mode and Enhance Voice Mode. And the earphone has AI based noise cancellation and touch gesture control.
Let’s come back to the battery of Redmi Buds 5 earphones. According to the company, each earbud will last up to 10 hours with the ANC feature turned off on a charge, and up to 38 hours of use with the charging case.
