Meta changes Facebook monetization program. The tech giant has brought three previous types of creator monetization programs under one umbrella. As a result, creators can now easily earn from Facebook (Earn Money from Facebook). Until now, creators could earn money from Facebook in three ways – in-stream ads (normal videos), ads on reels (reels videos), performance bonuses (all posts). They had different rules and could be signed-up separately only if they were met.
But from now on those who want to earn money from Facebook, they will apply for sign-up once to start monetization and monetization will be started for all types of videos, posts easily.
Meta recently reported that last year they allowed creators to earn $2 billion for videos, reels, posts, and photos. However, the company admits that not all creators are still able to take advantage of their monetization program. Only a third of creators are making money from Facebook. Although they want to give this opportunity to everyone.
How to Apply for Facebook's New Monetization Program
To earn from Facebook you need to join the monetization program. But the new monetization program is in beta mode and will continue until next year. This week Meta will invite 1 million creators to participate in the beta program.
But remember, once creators who participate in the beta mode of Facebook's new monetization program, they cannot go back to the old monetization program.
