The country’s biggest cricket entertainment show Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023) has ended after a long 60 days. The final match between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans was scheduled to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat on May 28, but it was canceled due to rain. Even the final match on the next day i.e. 29th May was interrupted by rain. However, finally, Chennai won the IPL title for the fifth time after defeating Gujarat Titans by five wickets. Virat Kohli’s team could not make it to the playoffs even though expectations were high about Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, RCB’s star batsman Glenn Maxwell won the Tata Tiago EV car as a reward for his mercurial batting.

The title sponsor of the IPL tournament is Indian car manufacturer Tata Motors. To increase awareness among the public about Electric, it was initially announced that the Tiago EV hatchback will be given to the batsman with the best strike rate this season. The electric car was eye-catching beyond the boundary line in every match.
Glenn Maxwell was honored with the Tiago EV as the “Electric Striker of the Season Award” at the end of the final match held yesterday. This popular Australian batsman has collected 400 runs in 14 matches in this year’s IPL. He has batted at a strike rate of 183.49 throughout the season, which is simply outstanding.

Incidentally, Tata launched the Tiago EV last year. Its ex-showroom price has gone from Tk 8.69 lakh to Tk 12.04 lakh. This is India’s first fully equipped battery powered car under Rs 10 lakh. It comes with 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery packs as per the price. The extra capacity battery is capable of covering 315 km on a single charge. Apart from the 7.2 kWh normal charger, DC fast charger is also available.
There are various features required in the car. These include cruise control, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps, touch screen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, Harman sound system, steering mounted controls, tire pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD and rear view. the camera
