Hero MotoCorp, the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, is currently gearing up to launch a variety of motorcycles. Apart from the X440, which is jointly developed with American firm Harley Davidson, the list of upcoming models includes Xtreme 160R, Karizma XMR, Xtreme 200S 4V and two new 400 cc motorcycles. The company has already informed that the updated Xtreme 160R will be launched on June 14. It will get USD front fork and four-valve powertrain.
On the other hand, the new model of Xtreme 200S is also going to hit the market soon. But the center of attraction is the Karizma XMR. A glimpse of the production model of the bike was recently seen. It has a completely new sporty design, sharp front fascia and aggressive fairing. A 210 cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine will provide the power to move forward. The powertrain will produce 25 bhp of power and 30 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike can be priced around 1.8 lakhs. The sports bike competes against Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and Yamaha YZF R15.
Hero Xpulse 400
Hero MotoCorp is currently testing a new adventure bike, the Xpulse 400. It has the company’s most powerful 421 cc engine. It is being brought to the market to take on the KTM 390 Adventure and the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The bike is expected to produce 40 horsepower and 35 Nm of torque. It is rumored to launch in 2025.
Hero 400cc Sport Tourer
Hero will bring another motorcycle based on the new 421 cc engine. It is a full-faired sports tourer. It was also spotted testing on the road along with the Expuls 400. The new motorcycle will come with various features including click on handlebar, fairing mounted mirror, traditional telescopic front fork, digital instrument console, disc brake, dual channel ABS.
