BMW Motorrad has started taking advance bookings for its mini electric scooter CE 02. This futuristic designed EV two-wheeler is expected to be launched in India in mid-September. This is the German company's second electric scooter in the country after the CE 04 model priced at Rs 14.90 lakh.
The BMW CE 02 is an urban EV, manufactured by TVS at their factory in Hosur, Tamil Nadu and exported outside India. This battery-powered two-wheeler is designed with practicality in mind. The body panel is not much.

Coming to the specifications, the BMW CE 02 runs on an air cooled motor. The scooter has a 2 kW battery pack, which can be chosen in single and twin battery options. A single battery provides a range of 45 km and a top speed of 45 km. On the other hand, the dual battery will give a range of up to 95 km.

Features include LED lighting, keyless operation, 3.5-inch TFT display, and USB-C charging. BMW Motorrad India is rumored to price its new EV two-wheeler in India under Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom). The price is so high because of the brand name and premium product.
