Sokudo Electric has officially launched three models in the Indian market. Wondering how cheap it is? I will come to that topic. But before that let’s know about their interesting features. If you hear that, you might immediately rush to buy this e-scooter.
Sokudo launched three electric scooters simultaneously
First let’s see how the three scooters are named. These are – Select 2.2, Rapid 2.2 and Plus (Lithium). Each of these is under the FAME TWO scheme of the central government. That is, they will get government subsidy. However, there’s no denying that battery-powered scooters have been fueling fire scares among buyers lately. But these models of Sokudo will eliminate that altogether. Because they feature ‘fireproof’ lithium ion ferro phosphate batteries.
There is a 15 amp converter for charging. It should be noted here that the Plus model is actually a slow speed scooty. That means no license is required to run it, not even registration from RTO. Now let’s know about the prices of these three electric scooters.
Select 2.2, Rapid 2.2 and Plus launched by Sokudo are priced at Tk 85,889, Tk 79,889 and Tk 59,889 respectively. Each as per ex-showroom price. Don’t think that the price is low because their range is low. These three scooters are capable of traveling 100 km, 100 km and 105 km respectively on a full charge. Their bodies are made of 3.5 mm to 5.25 mm thick ABS plastic.
The company is offering a three-year warranty on the battery pack and five years on the entire model. Incidentally, TAD sales have increased by 36 percent in 2023, the company said. Sokudo hopes to capture 15-20% of India’s electric two-wheeler market through the launch of these three electric scooters.
