Planning to buy an electric bike to save fuel costs? Then there is good news for you. E-bike startup Oben Electric has launched 'Freedom Offer' on the occasion of Independence Day. The company's only model Ror electric motorcycle is getting a huge discount of 25 thousand rupees. Due to the discount, the price of this e-bike has come down to Rs 1.25 lakh ex-showroom price.

Remember, this discount offer will continue till 15th August. Currently the number of electric motorcycles in India is very low. Oben Ror has managed to develop his own identity among them. There is a 4.4 kWh LFP battery to power the bike. The company claims that it can run up to 187 km on a full charge.
The e-bike has an 8 kW electric motor. Which helps it reach a top speed of 100 km per hour. The motorcycle takes 3 seconds to accelerate from 0-40 kmph. With the help of a home charger, the battery of the electric bike can be fully charged within 2 hours. The Oberon Ror has telescopic forks at the front, monoshock suspension at the rear, and disc brakes at both wheels.
Special features of the bike include digital instrument cluster, LED illumination, three riding modes, and USB charging port. It should be noted that despite limiting themselves to Bengaluru, Oben has recently started selling their electric bikes in Pune and Pitampura, Delhi.
