Kolkata-based electric two-wheeler company E-Went has launched a great battery scooter to ease the public by saving fuel along with pollution control. The new model is called Lightning. Price Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). As well as having an attractive design, it also offers good performance. The company feels that the E-Went Lightning will respond to the market with its sporty and sleek style.
Apart from West Bengal, this E-Went Lightning will also be available in Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar. It has dual portable batteries. They are removable ie can be opened and charged. The company claims that riding this electric scooter with a loved one will provide the best travel experience.

E-Went Lightning model has hydraulic shocker for comfortable riding. 3.4 kWh dual portable battery present as notable features. They can be opened and charged anywhere. In addition, projector headlamps are present to give visibility in the darkness of night. Remote lock/unlock is also available as keyless start.
