The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has directed telecom companies to bring only calling and SMS plans without internet data. However, Jio, Airtel, Vi or BSNL have not yet introduced any plan as per the directive. But if you want to recharge any such plan right now then you can choose the value plan of the company. These plans offer unlimited calling and SMS facilities with low data. Reliance Jio offers three value plans. Let's know more about these plans.
Jio prepaid plan of Rs.189
Jio customers will get a total of 2GB data with a validity of 28 days on the Rs 189 value plan. With this they can send a total of 300 SMS and make unlimited calls to all networks. Customers can also use the Jio family of apps (like Jio TV, Jio Cinema and Jio Cloud).
Jio Rs 479 recharge plan
Jio offers a total of 6 GB data with a full 84 days validity in their Rs 479 plan. Again customers can send a total of 1000 SMS and make unlimited voice calling on all networks. Subscription to Jio Apps (Jio TV, Jio Cinema and Jio Cloud) is also available in this recharge plan.
Jio 1899 Rs
Jio's most expensive value plan is priced at Rs 1,899 and comes with a full 336-day validity. Here customers will get a total of 24 GB data and unlimited calling on all networks. There is also facility to send 3600 SMS. Subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema and JioCloud apps will be offered here.
These plans are best for those who don't need mobile data on a daily basis or those who meet their data needs through WiFi or other SIMs. Calling and long validity are available here with limited data.
