DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 handheld gimbals launched: Specification, Price


DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 handheld gimbals have been announced with SuperSmooth mode and Titan Stabilization Algorithm. It appears that the company has rebranded its Ronin series which was launched back in September. Both of them are three-axis gimbals and compatible with Arca Swiss & Manfrotto plates.


DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 Gimbal Specifications and Features


A well known Drone-maker company DJI has finally introduced two new gimbals — RS 2 and the RSC 2. As per the company claim, Both the gimbals are designed using carbon fiber material which makes them lightweight. The DJI RS2 weighs 1.3 kilograms and able to support a dynamic payload of 4.5 kilograms which is enough to hold DSLRs and their lenses.



Moving to the DJI RSC 2, It comes with a foldable body that makes it a better option to carry around in a bag and weighs 1.2 kilograms. The gimbal also features a 1.4-inch touchscreen display through which the user can access its settings, camera data, and transmits a live feed of what is being recorded on the camera.


Both the gimbals include the support of the Titan Stabilization Algorithm, new vertical and low-angle Briefcase modes. These features help the content creators to record interest views and angles that would be difficult to do manually. The company has now moved the follow focus wheel to the front side of the handle and sits comfortably above the index finger.


Additionally, The gimbals also have support for the SuperSmooth feature that is designed for smoothing out movements while shooting with a tighter lens of up to 100mm focal length.


DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 Gimbal Price


Coming to the pricing, the DJI RS 2 is available for purchase at a price tag of $849 (around Rs.62,300) whereas the Combo bundle with additional accessories is priced at $999 (around 73,000). Coming to the DJI RSC 2, It is priced at $499 (around Rs.36,700) and the Combo Bundle costs $739 (around Rs.55,000).
