Now BSNL's 70-Day Recharge Plan Raises Jio and Airtel's Minds!
BSNL 197 plan: While not as popular in terms of user base, market share or services as private companies like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, the Indian government's own telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL has some unique recharge plans in its portfolio, which are in line with this price hike. It can also be used cheaply. For instance, the operator's 70-day validity plan has raised the eyebrows of Jio and Airtel – BSNL offers data-SMS and unlimited calling on the plan at Rs 2.80 per day. But let's know everything about this cheap-looking plan of BSNL.
BSNL 197: You will get Deda benefits in this plan for less than 200 rupees
The BSNL plan we are talking about today is the company's Rs 197 prepaid plan. Its validity is 70 days validity i.e. more than two months and the average cost per day is around Rs.2.80. In this case, if you recharge it, you will get 2GB data per day, unlimited calling (local+std) and 100 SMS per day. There will also be free access to Zing.
But remember that the data, calling, SMS or OTT benefits of this BSNL plan can be used only for the first 15 days of the recharge. If this time passes and no extra or add-on is recharged, you will not get any other benefits like calling, data, but your SIM will remain active for the remaining 55 days and you will be able to receive incoming calls.
So, if you are using BSNL connection as a secondary SIM, and want to keep it active for a long time, then the mentioned plan can be the best recharge option. This plan is available in most circles of BSNL. Incidentally, BSNL launched the first Rs 197 plan in 2021. At that time, this plan of Rs. 197 was available with 180 days validity with 18 days freebies. But later the company changed it and reduced the benefits.
