Tata Motors is working on multiple vehicles with a launch target this year. The company has already launched facelift versions of Harrier and Safari SUVs. It is now heard that the Tata Nexon CNG is going to hit the market soon. Recently, the car has been seen testing several times. The model was first showcased at the Auto Expo motor show last year. Tata Nexon CNG is expected to be launched in the market within the next few months.
With a 5-star rating from Global NCAP (GNCAP), the Tata Nexon is undoubtedly India's best-selling sub-4 meter SUV. In India, the car has rivals like Hyundai Venue and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The second model has already hit the market in CNG avatar. But CNG SUV options are very less.
Tata Nexon CNG: Estimated Price
Currently Tata Nexon is available in Petrol, Diesel, Electric options. There are various transmission options. Like 6-speed manual transmission, 7-speed DCA, 6-speed AMT and 5-speed MT. Currently, the ICE version of this car is priced between Tk 8.14 lakh to Tk 15.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Estimated, the Tata Nexon CNG may be priced between Tk 9.50 lakh to Tk 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Nexon CNG: Possible Features, Mileage
The Tata Nexon CNG model may have a 1.2 liter turbo petrol CNG engine. The current petrol version produces 118 hp of power and 170 Nm of torque. The output of the CNG version is expected to be slightly lower than this. It may be offered with a twin cylinder CNG tank.
Besides, Tata Nexon CNG features include 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, touchscreen system, wireless smartphone charger, illuminated Tata logo on two-spoke steering wheel, AC control, ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and sunroof.
