Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds and Sport earbuds launched. The company said these are “the world’s most effective noise-canceling earbuds”. Bose introduced Quiet Comfort Earbuds and Sport earbuds in the comparison of AirPods Pro and the Sony WF-1000XM3.
Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds
According to the company statement, Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds features the company’s best noise-canceling performance. It can match the performance of Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. these buds are excellent in blocking out environmental noise. Moreover, It also applies noise cancellation to your voice during phone calls. Users can also adjust the level of noise cancellation with a Transparency mode that enables the sound of user surroundings to pass through the buds.
The company also said, Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds can provide “constantly balanced sound“, even when listening to low volumes.
The earbuds use Volume-optimized Active EQ technology, which automatically boosts the lows and highs as the user changes the volume. It comes with IPX4 water-resistance rating and Touch-sensitive housing allows the user to control music playback. The earbuds would deliver up to 6 hours of playback and with a wireless charging case, the user will get 12 hours of battery backup. In terms of connectivity, it comes with 5.1 Bluetooth.
Bose Sport Earbuds Specifications and Features
Along with Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds, the company has launched Sport Earbuds as well. The company said that the new Sport Earbuds have better audio quality than the older model. Sport Earbuds also feature IPX4 water-resistance and Bose’ StayHear Max tips with the semi in-ear design and a tiny wing to keep them in place. The earbuds are smaller and lighter as compared to previous generation sports earbuds.
Unlike the Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds, the Sport Earbuds support Bluetooth 5.0 but still have the same AAC support and Active EQ. They also have 5 hours of battery life and the case provides two more full charges for a total of 15 hours. Like the QC Earbuds, the Sport Earbuds also have a touch-sensitive outside surface for controls. The Sport Earbuds come in three colors, Baltic Blue, Glacier White, and Triple Black. These earbuds lack noise cancellation that’s the main difference between QC Earbuds and Sport Earbuds.

Furthermore, Bose has added three more options to the Frames line-up: Tempo, Tenor, and Soprano. All of them also have wireless speakers. The company claimed that the new frames have better performance than the Alto and Rondo which were launched last year.
The Soprano and Tenor are similar in features, the main difference between them is the design. The Soprano has a cat-eye lens design while the Tenor has a square frame. Other than that, both feature a nylon frame, high-gloss black finish, and polycarbonate polarized lenses.
In terms of design, the Bose Tempo Frame has a sporty design. They feature soft silicone nose pads that come in three sizes in the box. The included polycarbonate polarized lenses have a mirrored black finish with 12% VLT (visible light transmission) but can be switched to Road Orange that allows 20% VLT.
Tenor and Soprano come with 16mm drivers embedded in the arms of the frame and offer only 5.5 hours of battery per charge whereas Tempo has a 22mm driver and provides 8 hours of playback. Tempo gets IPX4 water and sweat resistance, while the Tenor and Soprano only get an IPX2 rating. Additionally, All of them have a better mic system with a dual-beam-forming array replacing the previous single mic.

The Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds costs 279 USD ( around Rs.20,500 ) and sport earbuds priced at 179 USD (around Rs. 14,000). On the other hand, Bose Tempo, Tenor & Soprano carries the same price tag of 249 USD (around Rs. 18,500).
