Hero MotoCorp is going to launch Destini 125 in a new avatar to dominate the Indian scooter market. It is being called as the facelift version due to the massive makeover. It is scheduled to be launched on September 7. Earlier, the company gave an idea about the design and updates of the new Destiny 125 by releasing a teaser.
The teaser shows the new Hero Destini 125's front disc brake. It is assumed that there will be drum brakes at the rear Combi braking system can be matched. Alloy wheels will be accompanied by tubeless tyres. At the back there are new taillamps, which use LED lights.
The biggest change in the scooter is at the front end. The design is poured by the company. The front apron gets new LED headlamps with English 'H' shaped LED daytime running lights and projector setup. A backrest will be found behind the pillion to make the ride more comfortable. Hero is using copper element with maroon color for seats.
The Hero Destni 125 facelift is expected to add new color options and features. However, there is unlikely to be any upgrade in engine performance. As a result, it will run on the same 125 cc, single cylinder, air cooled engine as the current model. It will produce a maximum power of 9 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It will be accompanied by a CVT automatic gearbox.
