Hero MotoCorp in India is going to make a comeback of their legendary bike soon. They are going to bring back the new version of Karizma. The company has announced August 29 as the launch date for the new model. It is estimated that the bike will be launched in the country with the new name Karizma XMR on that day.
The Karizma XMR is coming next month
Two decades ago, the Karizma bike first entered the Indian market. At that time it was brought in collaboration with Japanese two-wheeler brand Honda. The name then was – Hero Honda Karizma. The success within a few days led to the arrival of the updated model Karizma R. Its latest model was the Karizma ZMR. Then the sale of the bike was stopped.
If the speculations are true, the new version of the bike could be named Karizma XMR or Karizma XMR 210. It may have a 210 cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine. It is expected to produce a maximum power of 25 PS. It can be offered with a 6-speed transmission.
The new Karizma gets telescopic front forks and rear monoshock to take care of the suspension. Dual channel ABS with front and rear disc brakes are offered to handle the braking duties. Other features include full digital instrument cluster, LED head light and tail light, navigation, hazard light switch etc.
