Maruti Ertiga can beat any expensive car in terms of space and comfort. In terms of popularity, this seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle retained the top spot in July. Last month, Artiga retained the title of the country's best-selling seven-seater car. Mahindra Scorpio is second after Artiga in terms of sales. And the third number is Toyota Innova (Toyota Innova).
Maruti Ertiga is one of the drivers' favorite for long drives. The trust and credibility of Maruti is increasing the sales of the car day by day. Artiga sold 15,701 units in July. In comparison, Maruti sold 14,352 Artigas during the same period last year. As a result, demand increased by 9 percent. The second placed Scorpio sold 12,337 models last month. It has sold 16 percent more than July 2023.
The third best-selling seven-seater car is the Toyota Innova. Besides, the remaining two models in the top five are Mahindra XUV700 and Mahindra Bolero. The Artiga is currently available in nine variants. There are petrol, CNG, manual, and automatic gearbox options. On-road prices in Kolkata have gone from Tk 10 lakh to Tk 15 lakh.
Incidentally, Maruti Suzuki cars have a bad reputation for being unsafe. Keeping with that tradition, the Made in India Artiga sold in South Africa recently scored one and two stars in the adult and child safety ratings in the Global NCAP crash test. Seven years ago, Global Encaps gave the Artiga a three-star safety rating in the old testing protocol.
