In July last year, India's Bajaj Auto teamed up with iconic British motorcycle brand Triumph to launch two great affordable bikes. Speed 400 (Speed 400) and Scrambler 400X (Scambler 400X) are selling well in India as well as in different parts of the world. Inspired by this success, Bajaj is set to launch a pair of new models under the Triumph branding.
Bajaj brings new 400 cc Triumph bike
Bajaj will launch two new 400cc Triumph motorcycles before the festive season this year, an all-India media report quoting sources said. These two new Triumph street bikes will come with new designs and a price point that could reach 10,000 units per month. During Diwali, shopping interest increases among Indians Bajaj can fix that time as the launch time.
Incidentally, Bajaj is currently looking after the sales and marketing of Triumph in India. A target has been set to take the production of Triumph bikes to 10,000 units per month by September. It is not yet known what the two new models of the Bajaj-Triumph duo will look like or what specifications they will have. However, more information on this is expected to emerge soon.
