The Bajaj Dominar brand has not received any significant updates for a long time. This time, Bajaj Auto is going to fulfill the long-standing desire of the buyers. This bike is going to come with major updates. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Officer of Bajaj Auto announced this recently from the Pulsar NS400Z launch stage. Since its first launch in 2017, the Dominator has not been able to make a dent in the market like the Pulsar brand. So Bajaj has taken initiative to bring back the new look.
Updated versions of Bajaj Dominar 400 and Bajaj Dominar 250 are coming
Currently Bajaj Domina is offered with 400 and 250 cc engines. Even the 373 cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine of the 400 cc model is offered in the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z. It produces 39 bhp of power and 35 Nm of torque. It has a 6-speed gearbox.
Apart from giving new features, design updates to the Dominar range, Bajaj will make several other changes. The company has not disclosed the exact timing of the launch of the bike. The list of features may include ride by wire with multiple riding modes, traction control, new digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, and turn by turn navigation. Again, new graphics and color options can be seen.
Bajaj can also touch the technology of Dominar 400 and Dominar 250. A larger fuel tank can be seen in the new version. As a result, it will be convenient for the user in case of long journey. Priced at Rs 2.31 lakh (ex-showroom), Bajaj Dominar 400 is rivaled by Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 350, Harley-Davidson X440. On the other hand, the Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom) Bajaj Dominar 250 rivals Suzuki Gixxer 250, TVS Ronin 225, Yamaha FZ25 etc.
