The world's first CNG bike, Bajaj Freedom 125, has responded to the market since its launch. The motorcycle received more than six thousand bookings within a week. Delivery has already started. However, the bike is currently not available outside Maharashtra and Gujarat. The company said that Freedom 125 will be launched in other states by increasing the production. Bajaj is going to make a big announcement about it on August 15.
Freedom will be made available in 77 cities by August 15, India's 77th Independence Day. However, the names of the places have not been disclosed. This initiative is because a lot of buyers are inquiring. Let us inform you that this CNG motorcycle comes in three variants. The drum model is priced at Rs 95,000. On the other hand, the Drum LED and Disc LED versions will cost Rs 1,05,000 and Rs 1,10,000 respectively (ex-showroom price).
Bajaj Freedom 125 model has cylinder for CNG and fuel tank for petrol. Such a dual fuel system is not available in other bikes or scooters. It is offered with a 2 kg CNG cylinder, with a mileage of 202 km (101 km/kg). A mileage of 65 km will be available in petrol mode. 130 km as per 2 liter tank. In the mileage test, the Freedom 125 was seen to give a fuel efficiency of 80 km/kg on the highway and 104 km/kg in the city.
The features of the motorcycle include LED headlights, digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, linked monoshock, and combined braking system. Bajaj Freedom's 125 cc fuel injected engine is capable of producing 9.4 HP of power and 9.7 Nm of torque.
