The Indian arm of the Japanese company has announced recall of several motorcycles of 300-350 cc engine capacity from the market due to mechanical defects. Let's take a look at exactly what problems Honda bikes have been diagnosed with and which models have been recalled.
The affected models include the Honda H'ness CB350, CB350RS, CB300R and CB300F. It is reported that the wheel speed sensor of these four bikes is faulty. Due to which water can get inside and increase the problem. Also, the speedometer, traction control and ABS systems can also be affected, putting riders at risk if not fixed.
The problem was found in bikes manufactured between October 2020 and April this year. Honda will replace the defective parts free of cost at their authorized service centers. However, the exact number of bikes with this defect has not been disclosed.

Note that the CB300F is the cheapest model among these bikes. It is priced at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the price of the CB300R bike is Rs. 2.40 lakhs. The Honda CB350 series is mainly known for its neo retro design. It competes with Royal Enfield Classic 360, Jawa 350, and Hero Maveric.
