Tarun Mehta, the founder of the organization himself, brought this incident to light on social media. However, Mehta did not specify which model of the 450 series the person bought.
Currently, Ather sells three different models of electric scooters in the Indian market – Ather 450S, 450X and 450 Apex. The cheapest model of these is the 450S. Price Rs 1,09,999 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas the 450X and 450 Apex cost Rs 1,37,999 and Rs 1,88,999 respectively (ex-showroom).
Ather brings the Rizta e-scooter
Incidentally, Aether Energy is currently working on a new electric scooter. Its name is Rizta. It is expected to hit the market soon. The company said that their upcoming model is being brought as a family scooter. So it has more emphasis on practicality than performance.
Ather Rizta can comfortably seat the driver and one passenger. It features LED lights, a fully digital instrument cluster, large footboard, multiple riding modes, front disc brakes, etc. It is speculated to have smartphone connectivity and fast charging.
