Asus 8Z was revealed in India as the new flagship smartphone from the Taiwan-based Tech Giant. The smartphone was teased back in August last year but the company unveiled it today. The device comes with a fast refresh rate AMOLED display, triple rear camera, Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, considerable battery capacity, fast charging, and more.

Asus 8Z flaunts a 5.9 inches sAMOLED display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ resolution, HDR10+ support, 1100nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus Protection. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 148 x 68.5 x 8.9mm and weighs 169 grams.
Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with an Adreno 660 GPU. It is accompanied by 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The device is packed with a 4,000mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging. The phone is running on Android 11 with Zen UI skin on top. It sports an IP68 water resistance rating and Dual stereo speakers.
Coming to optics, The phone features a dual rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 4-axis Optical Image Stabilization support, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 ultrawide lens. Additionally, the device supports 3-axis Electronic Image Stabilization, 4k@120fps slow motion, and 8k video recording. The smartphone boasts a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 selfie camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner.

Asus 8Z comes in a solo 8GB + 128GB configuration priced at Rs. 42,999 and the company offered the device in two color options namely Obsidian Black and Horizon Silver. The phone can be purchased from Flipkart starting from March 7 at 12 PM.
