What’s new in the latest Facebook Messenger update?
Facebook announced a new look for messenger. The social media giant changes the color of its messenger app from solid blue color to a blue-to-pink gradient which is similar to the Instagram logo.
As mentioned, Facebook is also planning to roll out new features in its messaging app such as Selfie Stickers, In this feature, users will be able to customize stickers with their pictures. The social media giant will also be rolling out a vanish mode feature in messenger. In this feature, The messages will disappear when the user leaves the chat or after they’ve been viewed by the receiver.
Stan Chudnovsky, VP of Messenger, said: “Our new logo reflects a shift to the future of messaging, a more dynamic, fun, and integrated way to stay connected to the people you’re close to. We hope you like it as much as we do”.
Last month, Facebook merged Messenger with Instagram by which users can send messages to people on Messenger from Instagram, and vice-versa. However, This update will be rolling out for selected regions in America, and the company said it will available globally over the next few months.
