Pooja Mondal, Kolkata: The work of implementing 5G may begin from June. In the context of BSNL, Union Communications Minister Jotiraditya Sindia gave a big indication on this day. The company is now busy planning to set up 1 lakh 4G towers across the country. BSNL has already said that 4,000 sites have been set up. The telecom company says 5G will be launched soon.
When will BSNL 5G start?
According to the Union Minister, its activities will be launched by setting up 1 lakh 3G site from May to June. That is, Telco does not want to spend more time to set foot from 3G to 3G. All preparations can begin from June. An important update on the X handle that day is also published by Tele Division. It is reported that the Center has allocated Tk 1,000 crore to improve the service of BSNL.
BSNL's network infrastructure will be improved with this money from the funds allotted to the tele division. The company has already closed 3G services. BSNL is moving towards implementing 3G with 4G available across the country. The money will be used to improve the quality of network services in telecom circles, authorities said.
On the other hand, Geo and Airtel have launched 3G more than two years. BSNL has to increase the speed of the service to survive in the fight against private companies. Last year, many people left Geo, Airtel and came to BSNL as the price of mobile recharge increased. However, BSNL leaves many customers due to poor network, call drop problems, high speed 4G-5G, etc.
However, BSNL has increased well in the last few months in the number of customers joining. This is why the state -owned telecom operator is trying to launch the 4G and 3G services as soon as possible.
