After Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel telecom company has also announced to increase mobile tariffs from 3rd July. While the company has hiked the prices of some of its select plans in Halfil, the prices of most plans have been kept the same. But after 2 years, Airtel again decided to increase the tariff of the entire portfolio. In this regard, the company said that to run a financially sound business, it is necessary to maintain the 'Average Revenue Per User' (ARPU) above Rs 300. By increasing the recharge plan prices, the telecom operator will be able to invest in spectrum, besides ensuring better network technology to customers.
Airtel has also confirmed that the prices of recharge packages have been increased marginally. In this case customers have to spend less than 70 paisa extra per day. The price of entry-level plans has been increased slightly so that the burden of higher costs does not fall on the shoulders of budget-conscious customers in particular. Below is a discussion about the new prices of Airtel's prepaid, postpaid and add-on data plans.
Airtel's New Prepaid Plan After Price Hike
- Rs 199 Plan: Earlier, the price of this Airtel plan was Rs. 179. Now the price has increased to 199 rupees. It also comes with 2GB data for 28 days, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day
- Rs 299 plan: The price of this plan of Rs 265 has now been reduced to Rs 299. It will be valid for 28 days. Along with this, daily 1 GB data, unlimited voice calling and 100 free SMS will be provided.
- Rs 349 plan: Earlier the price was 299 rupees. Now the price has increased to 349 rupees. It will also be valid for 28 days. This plan comes with 1.5 GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS.
- Rs 409 plan: After the tariff hike, this plan of Rs. 359 will have to be purchased by spending Rs. 409. The plan, which comes with a 20-day validity, will offer 2.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS.
- Rs 449 plan: Earlier the price was 399 rupees. From 3rd July this plan has to be bought for Rs 449. With this you will get 3 GB data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. This plan will be valid for 28 days.
- 509 Plan: The price of this plan of Rs 455 has increased to Rs 509. It will provide 6GB data, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day for a validity period of 84 days.
- Rs 579 plan: The new price of this Rs 479 plan is Rs 579. It will be valid for 56 days. Comes with – 1.5 GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS.
- Rs 649 plan: Earlier the price was Rs. 549. The price of this plan is now Rs 649. Along with this, access to 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS will be provided. The validity of this plan is 56 days.
- 859 plan: Earlier the price was Rs. 719. Now 859 rupees have to be deducted. It will be valid for 84 days. By spending this amount, customers will get 1.5 GB data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day.
- Rs 979 plan: The new price of this Rs 839 plan is Rs 979. It includes 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS options. The validity of this plan is 84 days.
- 1999 Rs Plan: Earlier the price was Rs 1799, which has increased to Rs 1999. Along with this, 24 GB data, unlimited voice calling and sending 100 SMS will be provided. The plan will be valid for 365 days
- Rs 3599 plan: The price of this Airtel plan from Rs 2999 has now increased to Rs 3599. If customers buy this plan, they can get 2GB data daily, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS for 365 days or 1 year.
Airtel Data Add-on Plan:
- Rs 22 plan: Earlier the price was 19 rupees. It has increased to 22 rupees. Along with this, 1GB extra data will be offered for 1 day.
- Rs 33 plan: The price of this data add-on plan of Rs 29 has been increased to Rs 33. It offers 2 GB additional data usage for 1 day.
- Rs 77 plan: This Airtel data pack was earlier priced at Rs 65, which has now increased to Rs 77. It can be used up to the validity limit of the base plan. It also comes with access to 4GB of additional data.
Airtel's new postpaid plan
- Rs 449 plan: This plan offers 40GB data with rollover, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day and subscription to Xstream premium app.
- Rs 549 plan: It will provide 75 GB data with rollover, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day. As additional benefits – Xstream Premium App, Disney+Hotstar app for 12 months and Amazon Prime app subscription for 6 months.
- Rs 699 plan: This plan is specially brought for families. It will get 105 GB data with rollover, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day. Xstream Premium, Disney+Hotstar for 12 months, Amazon Prime for 6 months, and free subscription to Wynk premium app with support for 2 device connections are also available.
- Rs 999 plan: This plan is suitable for large families. Along with this you get basic benefits like 190GB data with rollover, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS. Additional benefits include Xstream Premium, Amazon Prime with 4 device connections and Disney+Hotstar app subscription for 12 months.
