According to statistics, TVS Motor Company's best selling motorcycle Raider in the 125 cc segment has sold a total of 4,78,443 units in the financial year 2023-24. It accounts for 40 percent of the company's total motorcycle sales. Again, this bike contributes 17 percent in total two wheeler sales.
Now the thing is, what is the reason for this massive popularity of TVS Raider 125? Behind this is the cheap price. Not only that, the bike's modern looks continue to attract buyers. Packed with stylish sports bike-like design and features, the Raider 125 includes LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging port, disc brakes, etc. Besides, great mileage and powerful engine have enthralled the buyers.
Incidentally, TVS Raider 125 can be bought in multiple variants. The price of the base model starts from Tk 93,700. The single piece variant is priced at Rs 94,700 and the split seat trim is priced at Rs 1.08 lakh (ex-showroom). The 124 cc single cylinder engine present in it produces a maximum power of 11.4 bhp and a torque of 11.2 Nm. The maximum speed is 99 km per hour. It runs 67 kilometers on one liter of petrol. TVS Raider 125 is rivaled by Hero Xtreme 125R in the market.
