76 lakh WhatsApp accounts banned in the face of voting, what is the reason for such a big decision of the organization?

Of these, WhatsApp has permanently banned 14,24,000 accounts – meaning their owners will never regain access to the account.

WhatsApp bans accounts at a record rate

WhatsApp currently has more than 500 million users in India, but the company is proving time and time again that the company doesn’t care about these numbers. The Meta-owned messaging platform said it banned 76 lakh accounts in February for violating the country’s IT rules 2021. They claim that a record 16,618 complaints were registered that month. It may be noted that earlier in January 67,28,000 WhatsApp accounts were banned.
