The fourth generation model of the Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback was officially launched in India today ending the wait. The new car has been priced from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.64 lakh (ex-showroom). Speaking of which, this popular hatchback has been at the center of discussion for a long time. The 2024 version has a bunch of updates. The most significant of which is the Maruti Suzuki Swift's new petrol engine. The design of the new Swift is also very innovative.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift Design
Talking about the design, Maruti Suzuki Swift comes with new front and rear bumpers. There are also LED DRLs, LED projector headlamps, gloss black front grille, LED fog lights, 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and new LED taillights.
Maruti Suzuki Swift gets a pair of new color options – Luster Blue and Novel Orange. Other color options include – Sizzling Red, Pearl Arctic White, Magma Grey, and Splendid Silver. Besides, this car can be chosen in three dual tone colors. These are – Luster Blue with Midnight Black roof, Sizzling Red with Midnight Black roof and Pearl Arctic White with Midnight Black roof.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift Interior and Features
The fourth generation Maruti Suzuki Swift features a new dashboard with piano black and satin matte silver, asymmetric dials for the instrument console, 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen system and cruise control. It also has wireless charger, wireless phone mirroring, Suzuki Connect, rear AC vent, 60:40 split rear seat, keyless entry, 6 airbags, ESP, brake assist, three point seat belt with reminder and reverse parking camera.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift Engine Specifications
The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift has been launched with a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder, Z-series petrol engine. It gets a maximum power of 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. This car can be optioned with 6-speed manual and AMT transmission. It comes in five variants – LXi, VXi, VXi(O), ZXi and ZXi+.
