Bajaj Pulsar RS200 vs Yamaha R15
Engine: The Pulsar RS200 is powered by a 199.5 cc single spark, 4 valve liquid-cooled engine that produces 24.1 horsepower at 9750 rpm and 18.74 Nm of torque at 8000 rpm. Comes with 6 speed gearbox assist and slipper clutch.
On the other hand, the Yamaha YZF-R15 V4 has a 155 cc 4 valve liquid-cooled engine, which produces 18.1 horsepower and 14.2 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. Also comes with a 6 speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
Features : The new Pulsar RS200 has an upgraded digital LCD instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call SMS alert and gear position indicator. It has dual-channel ABS as standard features and multiple ride modes – road, rain and offroad.
On the other hand, Yamaha R15 has a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth, call SMS email alert, facility to check phone battery level, real-time fuel consumption, maintenance reminder and notification for parking location. It also has dual-channel ABS, traction control and two ride modes – Track and Street.
Price: The new Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is priced at Rs 1,84,115 (ex-showroom). And the Yamaha R15 is priced at Rs 1,88,600 (ex-showroom). In other words, the Pulsar is value-for-money among the two bikes.
