The battle between OnePlus and Redmi, the two brands will soon bring the best phones to dominate the market

Redmi is expected to unveil the Redmi K80 series of smartphones in China in November. The lineup will include at least two models. These are Redmi K80 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and Redmi K80 Pro with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. And now a tipster claims that the Redmi K80 lineup will compete with the OnePlus Ace 5 series. That means both lineups will hit the market at the same time.

The OnePlus Ace 5 series is likely to launch in November

Several recent reports claim that the OnePlus 13 will be one of the first phones in China powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. So, it is likely that the screen will be removed from the top of the OnePlus 13 in October.

Earlier reports claimed that the OnePlus Ace 5 series will debut in the fourth quarter of this year. And now, a Chinese tipster has claimed that the OnePlus S5 lineup will be launched in November to take on the Redmi K80 lineup.

The report also states that the two chips used in the OnePlus Ace 5 series will be the same as the Redmi K80 series. This indicates that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset could be used in the OnePlus Ace 5 handset and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor could be present in the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro handset. The tipster added that the standard model will have a ceramic build, while the Pro variant will have a 2K resolution screen.

According to other reports, the Redmi K80 Pro may be exclusive to the Chinese market. Considering the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be limited to the home market, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro might not launch outside of China.

There are also speculations that the Redmi K80 will be rebranded as the Poco F7 Pro in the global market next year. On the other hand, the Ace 5 phone may be renamed as the OnePlus 13R in the global market. The OnePlus 13R is likely to launch alongside the OnePlus 13 handset in January next year.
