Hyundai Alcazar Facelift has been officially unveiled in India. The three-row flagship SUV from the Korean company will be available in six- and seven-seater options. It will be available in a range of color schemes as well as two engine variants. Booking has started from today. Booking the car will cost Rs 25,000.
The Hyundai Alcazar facelift version will be available in nine color options and four variants – Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature, with new robust emerald matte. Talking about the exterior, the car retains its elongated look, but new low-set headlamps, 'H' shaped DRLs, and new 18-inch alloy wheels set it apart from the current model.
The biggest change is in the rear section of the Alcazer facelift. There Hyundai has used its signature connected tail lamps with stacked elements. There will also be a new rear spoiler, high-mounted stop lamps, and a new design for the bash plate. The company did not say anything about the cabin. But expect there to be updates like the Creta facelift.
The price of the new Hyundai Alcazer will be announced on October 9. On that day, the detailed information about the features will come forward. Hyundai has confirmed though, that it will feature Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System or ADAS. The car will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbo GDI petrol engine, mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
Also, the car can also be optioned with a 1.5 U2 CRDi diesel engine option, which will offer a six-speed manual and automatic transmission. Currently the price of Alcazer. 16.78 lakh to 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom). In the domestic market, the car competes with Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700.
