If you want to buy a foldable phone, wait for a few more days. In fact, Tecno's new foldable phones, Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2, are coming to storm the market soon. Pre-orders for these two phones start tomorrow in Ghana. Interested buyers can pre-order the two foldable smartphones from August 19 to August 24. Techno said that pre-orderers will get various benefits.
Pre-order Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2 will get gift
Buyers who pre-order the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 or Phantom V Flip 2 within the mentioned period will get gifts worth around Rs 1.61 lakh including a Bluetooth speaker and flask, travel trolley bag and Watch 3. In addition, buyers will be offered 15 GB MTN data for six months, 180 days of screen insurance and a warranty of up to 12+1 months.
Specifications of Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2
Tecno is yet to reveal the specifications of Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2. However, according to various reports, the second-generation Vfold will have a rectangular rear camera setup, whereas the previous Phantom Vfold featured a circular camera module. Meanwhile for security, the new device may have a side-facing fingerprint scanner and it seems that the foldable phone will come with stylus support.
The Phantom V Flip 2 will be the company's second-generation flip-style foldable phone. Previous Flip models had a circular secondary display similar to a smartwatch. However, the Phantom V Flip 2 will feature a larger cover screen, similar to the Motorola Razr 50's 3.6-inch cover display.
Phantom V Fold 2 will be powered by Dimension 9,000 Plus and Phantom V Flip 2 will be powered by Dimension 8050 processor. Both the phones are expected to launch in India, as they have already received approval from the BIS site in India.
