As expected, Realme today launched the much-awaited Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro Plus smartphones in India. These new handsets bring many improvements over their predecessors. They have improved processor, better cooling system and better camera sensor as well as many other upgrades. Let's take a closer look at the price, design and specifications of the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro Plus models.
Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro Plus Phone Price and Availability
Realme 13 Pro is available in three variants in India. Its base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Tk 26,999. The higher end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model has been priced at Rs 28,999 and the top-end 12GB RAM + 512GB storage version will be available at Rs 31,999. On the other hand, Realme 13 Pro Plus 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at Tk 32,999. Besides, the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage models are priced at Tk 34,999 and Tk 36,999 respectively.
The sale of Realme 13 Pro series will start from August 6 and the early bird sale will continue on July 30 from 6 pm to 12 am. Pre-booking will start on July 31. Also, the launch offer includes Rs 3,000 off with ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI cards, no-cost EMI for up to 12 months and a 30-day free replacement guarantee for devices activated before August 12.
Design and specifications of Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro Plus phones
Both the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro Plus feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz FullHD+ curved AMOLED display with ultra-slim bezels, offering 2,160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. This includes Realme's Pro-XDR technology, which enhances photo effects with better dynamic range and brightness. The display of the phones supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The design of the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro Plus phones is inspired by Claude Monet's artwork, available in Monet Gold and Monet Purple for the glass back panel and Emerald Green color shade for the vegan leather option. High-gloss ag glass with Miracle Shining Craft creates a glossy effect. The glass back model of the handsets measures 161.34×73.91×8.23 mm and weighs 188 grams (Realme 13 Pro) / 190 grams (Realme 13 Pro Plus). Meanwhile, the vegan leather model measures 161.34×73.91×8.41mm and weighs 183.5g (13 Pro) / 185.5g (13 Pro Plus). The devices are dust and splash-resistant with an IP64 rating.
For performance, both the Realme 13 Pro series models are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phones have a 9-layer cooling system with 4,500 square millimeters of tempered VC and 9,953 square millimeters of graphite, to keep the devices cool during long usage.
For photography, Realme 13 Pro Plus has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-701 (f/1.88 aperture) primary rear camera with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, f/2.65 aperture Also present is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera, which offers 3x optical zoom and up to 120x superzoom.
On the other hand, the Realme 13 Pro features a 50-megapixel LYT-600 sensor (f/1.88 aperture) with OIS and an 8-megapixel (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide camera. Both the phones have a 32-megapixel front camera and support AI features like Ultra Clarity, Smart Removal, Group Photo Enhance and Audio Zoom.
For power backup, both the phones have a 5,200 mAh battery. Realme 13 Pro Plus supports 80W SuperVoice fast charging, which reaches 50% in 19 minutes and 100% in 49 minutes. The Realme 13 Pro phone offers 45W fast charging SuperVoice fast charging.
Besides, the devices run on Realme UI 5.0 custom skin based on Android 14. Realme has promised two major Android OS updates and three years of security updates. Connectivity options of the handsets include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C port. The phones have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, along with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio.
