In a press conference on Monday, the company's CEO Bhavish Agarwal spoke about the electric motorcycle market in the first half of 2025. Details about the model will be announced on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15.

The production version of the electric bike is expected to be unveiled on that day. Ola has already become the largest EV two-wheeler brand in the country. They have popular models like S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1X. They are selling more than 30,000 two-wheeler electric vehicles every month. Although there are many electric scooters in the country, the number of bikes is negligible. So this time the company is coming to capture the electric bike market.

Bhavish Aggarwal said, “Ola Electric will use its own battery in its upcoming electric motorcycle.” He added, from 2025 we will use in-house developed EV batteries. Also, we will start selling electric bikes in the first six months of next year. However, Ola Electric has no plans to introduce a four-wheeler electric vehicle at the moment.
