Realme GT 6 launched with powerful processor and super fast charging support, has Sony camera sensor

The Realme GT6 smartphone has finally been launched today in its home market China. It is the successor to last year's Realme GT5 phone. Notably, the Realme GT6 in China is a different smartphone than the global model launched last month. The Chinese model of the Realme GT6 handset offers an AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel primary camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a massive 6,800 mAh battery. Realme GT6 specifications and features

The Realme GT6 comes with a different design compared to its predecessor and its global variant. It has flat frames and a rectangular rear camera module. The rear panel offers a dual-tone look due to the dark and light shades of the same color. The device comes with IP65 certified dust and water-resistant chassis.

In terms of display, the Realme GT6 phone has a 6.78-inch BoE S1+ AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,780 x 1,264 pixels, which is supported by Pro XDR, 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 6,000 nits peak brightness, an integrated fingerprint scanner and 2,160 Hz provides high-frequency PWM dimming The display is protected by crystal armor glass.

For photography, the Realme GT6 handset has a dual rear camera setup, housing a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. And there is a 16 megapixel selfie camera in front of the phone.

The Realme GT6 handset runs on Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It offers 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. The device features a large 10,000-level dual VC for heat dissipation. Also, there is an aerospace-grade aluminum middle frame and thermal insulation, which helps keep temperatures down. For power backup, the smartphone supports a large 5,800 mAh second-generation silicon-carbon anode battery technology. It is compatible with 120W wired charging and 33W UFCS and 55W PPS fast charging.

In terms of software, the Realme GT6 phone runs on Realme UI 5 custom skin based on Android 14 operating system. It offers various AI features including AI Portal, AI Call Summary and AIGC. The device comes with gesture controls to perform various tasks without touching the screen. Other features of the smartphone include IR control, an X-axis linear motor and a Sky communication system with 5.5 GHz network and Wi-Fi 7 protocol.

Realme GT6 Price and Availability

In China, the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Realme GT6 phone has been priced at 2,799 Yuan (about Rs. 32,135). Besides, the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage options of the phone are priced at 3,099 Yuan (approx. Rs. 35,600) and 3,399 Yuan (approx. Rs. 39,050) respectively. And the top-end 16GB RAM + 1TB storage configuration can be bought for 3,899 Yuan (around Rs. 44,800). The smartphone is available in Storm Purple, Light Ear White and Dark Side of the Moon color options. The rear panel of the latter has a multi-gradient texture similar to the soil of the moon. The device will be available for purchase in China from July 15.
