Vivo is currently working on a new Y-series smartphone called the Vivo Y28s 5G. The upcoming device has now been spotted on the Google Play Console certification platform with the model number V2346. The listing confirmed the phone name. Earlier, the Vivo Y28s 5G phone was spotted on Geekbench, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and CQC certification platforms. The Google Play Console listing also revealed the phone's design along with some of its features. Let's take a look at them.

According to the placeholder render on the Google Play Console certification, the Vivo Y28S 5G phone will come with a display with a centered punch-hole cutout and wide bezels. The rear panel of the handset will have a rectangular camera island with curved edges. The renders show the smartphone in a pink color option with a gradient design.
The Vivo Y28S 5G is listed with a MediaTek MT6835 chipset in the Google Play Console certification. It has two A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six A55 cores clocked at 2GHz with a Mali G57 GPU for graphics. These details indicate that the device will come with a MediaTek Dimension 6100+ processor. The upcoming Vivo phone is said to offer 4GB of RAM, but more options are expected at launch. In terms of software, the Vivo Y28S 5G will run on Android 14 operating system.
According to the certification listing, the Vivo Y28s 5G phone will offer a display resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels and a screen density of 300 dpi. However, more information is not known from the Google Play console. Meanwhile, the Geekbench database has revealed that the Vivo Y28s 5G handset will come with 8GB of RAM. On the other hand, the CQC certification revealed that the Vivo Y28s 5G will support 15W charging. Additionally, the device has also been spotted on the NCC certification platform with a 5,000mAh battery unit and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device has also received NBTC certification. As multiple certification sites have been approved, it is believed that the Vivo Y28s 5G could be launched in the market very soon.
