While the memory variant and color options of the device have been officially confirmed, there is no concrete information about the chipset used in it yet. However, the Honor Magic V Flip has now appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, a day ahead of launch, revealing its RAM capacity and operating system as well as processor details. Honor Magic V Flip phone spotted on Geekbench database
An Honor phone with the model number LRA-AN00 was spotted on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) platform earlier this month. It is believed that this phone will be the Honor Magic Flip. The 3C certification reveals that the device will come with 66W fast charging support. Now the device with the same model number has been listed on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. According to the listing, the Magic V Flip phone has a Qualcomm processor with model number SM8475. The chipset model number and CPU configuration indicate that Honor's flip phone will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.
The Geekbench listing also revealed that the Honor Magic V Flip handset will have 12GB of RAM and will run Android 14 operating system. The company has already confirmed that the device will be available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage variants with 12GB RAM. In terms of benchmark results, the Magic V Flip scored 1,732 and 4,431 points in Geekbench's single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
It is also reported that the Honor Magic V Flip could come with a large 4,800mAh battery that will support 66W fast charging. It is estimated that the cover display of the device could be around 4 inches. Again, recent reports indicated that the device's internal foldable screen could support 1.5K resolution. For photography, it will feature a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). Honor Magic V Flip is rumored to be available in three attractive color shades, namely Iris Black, Champagne Pink and Camellia White.
