A special edition of the Nothing Phone (2a) handset was launched in the global market today (May 29). The London-based company unveiled an exclusive blue color variant of its latest budget range phone for the Indian market last month. And the newly unveiled Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition comes with a multicolored rear panel design. However, the basic design elements and specifications of the device remain the same. Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition launched

The Nothing Phone (2A) special edition smartphone follows the Nothing brand's signature clear back panel design. Its rear shell features three glyph LED lights surrounding a circular island and a rubber cable. The LED lights and the rubber cable both have a deep gray shade, while the rest of the back panel is white.

The main change in the special edition of the Nothing Phone (2A) handset is that it has red, blue and yellow color accents. Nothing states that this indicates the importance of primary colors and their place within their brand identity. All Nothing Audio products feature red on the right earbud, yellow on the new Ear (A) earphones and blue on the Nothing Phone (2A) Blue variant. The red and yellow accents are small but the blue pops out more prominently in the elongated pill-shaped module. Inside this module are two horizontally placed camera sensors.

In terms of price and availability, the Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition has been launched in only 12GB RAM and 256GB storage options. It will be available in limited quantities for £349 in UK, EUR 379 in Europe and Rs 27,999 in India. In the country, the device will be available for purchase on Flipkart's site from June 5, and buyers can avail a direct discount of Rs 1,000 via select cards.

As mentioned earlier, the Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition offers the same specifications as the standard model. That is, it also has an AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Pro, a 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), and a 5,000 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging support.
