State telecom company BSNL has a long-term plan of Rs 197 in its portfolio, which will rival the plans of leading companies like Jio and Airtel. Although BSNL lags far behind these two telcos in terms of subscriber numbers, the prepaid plan offered by the company at Rs 2.80 per day is raising concerns among other telecom operators. Let's know more about this plan.
BSNL prepaid plan of Rs.197
BSNL's Rs 197 prepaid plan has a validity of 70 days i.e. customers can enjoy more than two months. Along with this, the company also offers 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calling (local and STD) and 100 SMS per day. Also, comes with access to Zing. And as per the FAP policy, the internet speed will be reduced to 40 kbps after the daily data limit is over.
But note that data, calling, SMS and OTT facilities are available only for the first 15 days. That means after the first 15 days you will no longer enjoy these benefits, but your SIM will remain active for 70 days and you will be able to receive all calls and SMS.
Although, this plan of BSNL is available in every circle of the country, still, check the official website of the company to know if the benefits of this plan are high in your state or city.
