Oppo is gearing up to debut its Oppo Reno 12 series of smartphones in the home market of China soon The curtain will be removed from them next week. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the design of the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro models along with their color options in official teasers. And now some new images of the Oppo Reno 12 lineup have surfaced online courtesy of a well-known tipster, showcasing its vibrant colors.
Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro: Color options
Tipster Evan Blass has shared the official renders of the upcoming mid-range devices Oppo Reno 12 on his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle. The brand recently officially teased the design and color options of the Oppo Reno 12 series. However, only the silver color variant of the Oppo Reno 12 and the purple variant of the Oppo Reno 12 Pro have been spotted in the official teaser. But now the tipster has revealed other color options for both the base and Pro models.
Notably, the Oppo Reno 12 will be available in Light Pink and Deep Grey/Black colors, while the Pro model will be launched in Purple and Black colors. Both the silver and purple variants of the device have a wave-like pattern on the rear panel. Oppo will unveil the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro in China on May 23. Both models are expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The base model may have the MediaTek Dimension 8250 processor, while the Pro variant will use the MediaTek Dimension 9200 Plus chipset.
Notably, both the Oppo Reno 12 series phones are expected to come in similar storage variants, 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, 16GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage. Both devices are likely to sport a large 5,000mAh battery, which can support 80W wired fast charging. For photography, both the phones will feature a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel primary camera.
