The beautiful sleek retro design coupled with great engine performance has made the Suzuki Access 125 the best selling scooter in the country after Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter series. It first made its way to India in 2007. The scooter has seen many changes over the years. Suzuki has started preparations for the launch of the facelift version of Access. Very recently, the new generation Access was seen testing on the country’s roads for the first time.
Suzuki Access 125 Facelift Coming to India
According to the spy shots, the biggest change can be seen in the front design of the new Suzuki Access 125. While the testing model was shrouded in black, the new bodywork is evident. Like the pillion footpeg slots, exhaust heat shield, and headlight cowl look sharper than the current model. Again the rear mudguard is longer than before. The ignition and keyhole may be redesigned.
Presumably, the new Access 125 may offer additional storage on the right side. The same reliable 124 cc, single cylinder engine as before will provide the power to move forward. It will produce a maximum power of 8.6 bhp and 10 Nm of torque.
Note that if you opt for the Ride Connect edition of the Access 125, it gets a full digital screen and smartphone connectivity. But it will not be bad if new instrument cluster is given in the new model. Apart from this, there will be telescopic front fork, monoshock unit, front disc and rear drum. Prices may increase slightly due to new paint schemes and upgrades. The new Access 125 is likely to be launched during the Puja season this year.
