Realme 12x 5G was launched in India a few days ago. And yesterday the smartphone became available for purchase in India for the first time. It is the third phone in the 12-series after Realme 12 5G and 12+ 5G. Compared to its predecessor Realme 11x 5G, the 12x 5G comes with several upgrades. - Realme 11x 5G is also affordable
Last year, Realme 11X 5G 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage were priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 15,999 respectively. On the other hand, the same variants of Realme 12X 5G are priced at Rs 13,499 and Rs 14,999 respectively. Also, there is a 4GB RAM +128GB storage model, which can be bought for just Rs 11,999. Customers can use SBI, ICICI and HDFC bank cards to get Rs 1,000 instant rebate. Also, there will be an additional discount of Rs 500 on the 6GB RAM variant. The Realme 12X 5G phone can be purchased through the Realme India website, Flipkart and offline stores in the country.
- Bright display
The Realme 11X 5G and Realme 12X 5G have the same size 6.72-inch FullHD+ 90Hz IPS LCD panel. However, the 12X’s screen offers a peak brightness of 950 nits, which means users can see the phone’s display well even in sunlight.
- Software based features
The Realme 12x 5G has the Air Gesture feature, which was first seen on the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G. It allows users to control the phone through gestures. The phone runs on Android 14 based Realme UI 5 custom skin. And it’s promised to get two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
- 45W fast charging
The Realme 12x 5G is the only phone in its price segment to offer 45W fast charging. The brand claims that it will take just 30 minutes to charge the phone’s battery from 1 to 50 percent with the help of a 45-watt in-box charger.
- Dual Speakers With dual speakers, the Realme 12x 5G offers stereo output during binge-watching or gaming. Whereas, the predecessor 11x came with only a single speaker.
Apart from the mentioned features, Realme 12x 5G offers MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset with VC cooling, LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, 5,000mAh battery and Rainwater Smart Touch feature, meaning its display can be used even with wet hands. For photography, the 12x 5G has a dual-camera system on the back with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. And a 16 megapixel front camera is located in front of the phone.
