Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G was launched in India not long ago. It is currently available to buy with attractive offers. And now, two more new phones from the Pova 6 series have been unveiled. The standard Tecno Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo have been listed on the company’s official website. Both the phones have MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chipset, FullHD+ display and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and run on Android 14 operating system. Let’s take a look at the details including the price of the phones.
Tecno Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo: Specifications and Features
Let’s first look at some similarities. The Tecno Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo feature the same design with an LED light strip to the right of the camera sensors. Both the phones have the same 6.78-inch display, with FullHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutout. Standard and Neo – Both models use the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chipset. It has Android 14 based HiOS 14 software installed.
Tecno Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo have stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity options of the phones include USB-C port, dual 4G VoLTE, Near Field Communication (NFC) and 3.5mm audio jack.
Now coming to the differences, the Tecno Pova 6 Neo has a slightly wider lower chin than the Pova 6. The Neo model has an LCD panel with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, while the standard model has an AMOLED display with a fingerprint scanner. The standard model offers 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB storage. On the other hand, the Pova 6 Neo comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage.
For photography, the Tecno Pova 6’s rear camera setup includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor, while the Pova 6 Neo comes with a 50-megapixel main camera. Both are paired with an AI secondary camera. The standard and Neo models house 32-megapixel and 8-megapixel selfie cameras respectively. For power backup, the Tecno Pova 6 has a massive 6,000mAh battery unit with 70W fast charging support. On the other hand, the Neo model comes with a larger 7,000mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging. The prices of the phones, however, are yet to be announced.
