Aiko recently celebrated their fourth anniversary in the Indian market. To commemorate this, the company today took the wraps off the new iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition smartphone as expected. The phone comes in an attractive Desert Red color option. But other than the exterior, the specifications of the phone are similar to the standard iQOO 12 launched last year. That means it also offers an AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 50-megapixel triple camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery. iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition Price and Availability
The Aiko 12 Desert Red Anniversary Edition was teased earlier this week and now the brand has finally announced the price. The base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the phone is priced at Rs 52,999. And the higher 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant can be bought for Rs 57,999. This model will be available for sale through Amazon and Echo’s official website. The first sale will start on April 9. As a launch offer, ICO will give instant Rs 3,000 discount to customers with no-cost EMI option on payment through HDFC and ICICI Bank cards. Incidentally, the new Desert Red model is priced the same as the Legend and Alpha color variants of the iCo 12 already available in the market.
Specifications of iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition
First of all, the Aiko 12 Anniversary Edition is basically the same as the Aiko 12 which was launched in December last year. The only notable aspect is its attractive desert red color back panel. Note that the red color option with synthetic leather finish was limited to the Chinese market only. The flagship phone features a large 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution, offering a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and 3,000 nits peak brightness.
For performance, the iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. And for power backup it comes with a large 5,000mAh battery, which supports 120W wired fast charging. The phone features a 50-megapixel triple camera setup at the back and a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. It runs on Origin OS 4 custom skin based on Android 14 operating system.
